Sometimes you don't need a stunning amount of detail to get an idea and a mood across accurately. red.death.black by ~cirocco pulls this of nicely, with an excellent composition and attention to color really bringing out the intent of the subject matter.

actually this is probably as 'dark' as i can get... you guys already know that i can't draw blood. i detest drawing mashed organs. (but i still enjoying seeing movies rated R for violence
) i love red and black. this is probably also as 'red and black' as it can ever get. don't u think it's a tad too fiery?? hmmm
oh yes. i love the idea of 'death' being a little girl. just cruel, eh??
